Kenton White stopped all 24 shots directed his way to lead the visiting Dawson Creek Canucks to a 4-0 win and a 2-0 lead in their NPHL Semi-Final series against the Manning Comets.
Jeff Taylor’s first period power play goal was all DC would need on the night, with the assists going to Tyler Reay and Matt Schmermund. Jeremie Perron was in the sin bin for roughing.

In the second period, Brett Norman scored at even-strength just before the midway point to put DC up 2-0. DC scored only once in the period despite outshooting MAN 24-8 in the period.
In the third period, DC continued to press as they outshot MAN 21-5. DC scored a third goal from Evan Weaver, than added a fourth with only 58 seconds left into an empty net from Jason Higson.
Overall, DC outshot MAN 55-24 with MAN goaltender Braden Gamble the only reason the game was close. He stopped 51 of 54 shots overall.
Game 3 is back in DC Tuesday night with DC looking to take a 3-0 stranglehold on the series.
