Reay’s late PPG puts DC up 3-0 in series

Tyler Reay’s power play goal with 5:26 left in the third period gave the Dawson Creek Canucks a hard-fought 3-2 win over the visiting Manning Comets Tuesday night.
In winning, DC takes a commanding 3-0 lead in their NPHL Semi-Final series with a chance to wrap up the series in Manning Friday night.
The win also spoiled an outstanding effort from MAN goaltender Braden Gamble, who stopped 54 of 57 shots.

Kenton White recorded the win stopping 25 of 27 shots fired his way.
After a scoreless first period, Jeff Taylor opened the scoring at the 4:44 mark of the second period. At 12:25, Levi George made it 2-0 and it looked like DC was on its way to an easy win.
However, Layne McLean’s power play goal with 31 seconds left in the period game MAN hope heading into the third period.
Early in the third at 2:22, Josh Rutherford tied the game setting a thrilling finish.
Evan Weaver and Mike Lalonde assisted on Reay’s game-winning effort.
