NPHL Line: Let the Games Begin!

Chris Clegg
NPHL.com Writer

I return for another NPHL season picking games straight up and against the line. This week features only one game.
Readers of the High Prairie South Peace News know I have picked games for over 20 years. I will now share those picks with NPHL.com.

Lines have been set by various NPHL fans over the years. For the last few years lines have been set by David Temple, former NPHL linesman and avid fan. Temple returns to set the lines this season.
In the 20+ years of making predictions, I have never lost a season series straight up, and lost only once against the line. I rely on my vast history of previous games catalogued and trends to make picks. Please enjoy!

Grande Prairie at Fort St. John [Sat., Oct. 27]
LINE: Fort St. John by 2 1/2

FSJ played two exhibition games vs DC, winning at home and losing on the road. GP did not play an exhibition game. GP lost two of three at FJ last year winning 6-3 and losing 5-4 and 7-3 so FSJ only covered the current line once. In the five games played last year, GP was 3-2. Since 2013, FSJ is a sparkling 8-2 at home vs GP with five games covering the current line. FSJ also carries an opening night home game four-game win streak into this game. The stronger trend is clear but I go against the trend. FSJ to win but GP with the goals.
