The NPHL could have as many as 10 teams next season.
The league has heard from three additional centres expressing interest in joining the league for the 2019-20 season.
Spirit River, Lakeland and Beaverlodge reps have contacted the NPHL in the past week.
If all three teams were accepted, the league could potentially split into two five-team divisions which would be ideal.
A league meeting will have to be called if any of the three teams submits a formal application.
