Bud Dyck made 33 saves to record the shutout and Josh Peters’ shorthanded goal late in the first period was all that the Grimshaw Huskies needed to take the first game of the East Division Semi-Final over the visiting Manning Comets Tuesday night.

Mark Simpson and Corson Fairless added third period goals in the final six minutes with Fairless’s effort on the power play.
MAN goaltender Braden Gamble stopped 34 of 37 shots and suffered the loss.
The second game of the series is at MAN Friday.
